Most lawyers have heard the acronym “UCC,” but may not know much more about this important and influential development in American law. This “101”-style course will explore the history and inner workings of the Uniform Commercial Code, and how it has been adopted in Ohio and the United States. The seminar will also discuss the practical implications of the UCC, and participants will learn strategies for success when navigating disputes and litigation involving Article 2 (Sales), one of its most expansive and commonly implicated portions.
