Benesch is pleased to announce that six new attorneys have joined the firm.
Brian Ramm is a partner in Benesch’s Litigation Department. His practice is concentrated in the national defense of pharmaceutical companies in federal and state courts. His other areas of practice include general product liability, medical malpractice, and toxic tort defense. He has extensive experience in defending catastrophic personal injury claims and political subdivisions. Brian received his J.D. from The University of Toledo College of Law and his B.A. from Miami University.
Kelly Noll is an associate in Benesch's Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group. She has experience effectuating conversions into Real Estate Investment Trusts, drafting leases and preparing for negotiations of retail and industrial space, parking agreements, rooftop agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and mortgage releases. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School where she received the pro bono excellence award, a certificate in Land and Environmental Law, was a Clough Center Scholar and participated in the Environmental National Moot Court. She received her B.A. in Economics, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
Emily Danford is an associate in the firm’s Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group who focuses her practice in the areas of environmental law and litigation. Her environmental practice includes representation of clients in administrative proceedings, litigation in state and federal court, and environmental counseling in business, state and federal regulatory compliance, permitting, and legislative matters. She also performs environmental due diligence for corporate transactions. Emily's litigation practice includes commercial litigation, products liability, and class action matters. She has comprehensive litigation experience, managing her clients’ needs throughout the litigation process from pre-discovery through appeals. Emily is a practical advocate and takes a detail-oriented approach to her work. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve where she was Order of the Coif and Senior Editor of the Case Western Reserve Law Review. She received her B.A. in History, cum laude, from Bryn Mawr College.
Bryan A. Wilbert is an associate in Benesch's Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group. He represents clients in a wide range of commercial real estate matters, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, financing transactions, and development. Bryan received his J.D. with distinction from the University of Iowa College of Law where he was a member of the Iowa Law Review and where he received Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. He received his B.S.B.A., cum laude, from the University of Southern California where he was a member of Phi Kappa Phi and was a Boeing Scholarship recipient.
Matthew “Matt” Selby has joined as of counsel in our Transportation & Logistics Team within our Litigation Practice Group. Mr. Selby was previously the General Counsel for a motor carrier and broker where he was a member of the executive team providing advice and counsel on the company’s strategic growth plan and business operations including motor carriage, drayage, cartage, warehousing and brokerage. Matt was also responsible for the management of litigation, insurance claims, employment matters, real estate transactions, grant procurement for alternative fuels and mergers and acquisitions. Previously, Matt was in private practice focusing on real estate, corporate law, criminal and civil litigation, sports and entertainment and transportation. He received his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and his B.S. from John Carroll University.
Justin Clark joins Benesch’s General Practice Group as an associate. Justin earned his B.A. from Otterbein University, his M.Ed. in Business Education from Bowling Green State University and his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
All six attorneys are practicing out of Benesch’s Cleveland office.
