As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to announce that Mariam Keramati has joined the firm.
Keramati joins the Benesch Cleveland office as an associate in the firm’s Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group and represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial real estate transactions. Her practice includes the acquisition, disposition, development, financing, and leasing of commercial real estate located throughout the United States.
“The firm is adding to our real estate practice, continuing our growth in response to the needs of our clients,” said Jeffrey J. Wild, Chair of the Real Estate & Environmental Practice Group, Firm Administrative Partner, and Chief Strategy Officer at Benesch. “Mariam adds to the depth of our team, sharing the same philosophy that drives all of our work: that what is best for the client is what is best for the deal.”
Keramati received her J.D., cum laude, from The Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law in 2014 and her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan in 2008.
Keramati joins Benesch during a time of significant growth for the firm. More than 70 attorneys have joined the firm in the last 18 months. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, the firm has advanced 19 places and is currently ranked at number 176.
