Benesch is pleased to announce that Margo Wolf O’Donnell, Co-Chair of the firm’s Labor & Employment Law Group, has been named to the National Law Journal’s list of 2023 Employment & Discrimination Law Trailblazers.
The National Law Journal's panel selected 24 honorees nationwide. While reviewing the nominations, the committee sought legal professionals who have made significant marks on their sector's practice, policy, and technological advancements. They also looked for lawyers who act as agents of positive change in the legal profession.
The National Law Journal's selection committee was especially intrigued by Margo's founding and leadership of Benesch's B-Sharp program, which delivers networking opportunities, power coaching, and professional development to hundreds of women in-house attorneys each year.
Margo is a nationally recognized employment attorney with more than twenty-five years of experience litigating complex and “bet the company” employment claims. Margo’s cases involve high stakes restrictive covenants and trade secrets, whistleblower claims, wage-and-hour issues, and statutory claims of harassment and discrimination. Margo also acts as a crisis manager and business advisor to her clients on best practices for workplace safety, compensation, leave issues, employment agreements, diversity and inclusion, individual and group discharges, and internal investigations. She has been widely recognized as one of the top employment attorneys in the country.
