Benesch Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg, who was unanimously reelected to serve a fourth term, was featured in Cleveland Jewish News for his unprecedented reelection.
Eisenberg has been a partner at Benesch since 2005 and has served as managing partner since 2015. Traditionally, managing partners at the firm are limited to a ten-year term, but the firm's partners made an exception, removing the term limit to extend his tenure through June 30, 2029.
“To be managing partner of a firm and a partnership that I respect so much is really the highlight of my career,” Eisenberg said. “In our partnership agreement, the partnership decided to remove the term limit for me, which was another great honor.”
Under Eisenberg's leadership, Benesch has grown significantly, adding 370 attorneys and bringing its total lawyer count to 455. He has played a key role in recruiting much of that talent and remains accessible to every attorney at the firm.
“I think we’re very intentional in our recruiting efforts, to make sure that we bring in people who are like us and want to practice law like us, and that is our true secret.” Eisenberg shared.
