As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome associate Christopher Razek to the firm’s Litigation and Transportation & Logistics Practice Group in Cleveland.
“Chris is an outstanding attorney, and we welcome him to the firm,” said Benesch’s Managing Partner Gregg Eisenberg. “We’re committed to serving our clients with skillful and comprehensive solutions in the transportation and logistics industry. Chris brings great experience, knowledge and creativity to that work and we are ecstatic to have him aboard.”
As a member of the firm’s Transportation & Logistics Group, Chris represents manufacturers, distributors, retailers, carriers, brokers, and forwarders in connection with general business consultation, regulatory compliance counseling, drafting and negotiation of contracts, litigation and dispute resolution, and enforcement defense including during investigations and audits.
“Chris is an excellent addition to our team,” said Eric Zalud, Co-Chair of Benesch’s Transportation & Logistics Practice Group and Associate Chair of its Litigation Practice Group. “Building our capacity to deliver quality work for our clients facing contractual, transactional, and regulatory challenges in the transportation and logistics arena is a key priority for us in Cleveland and around the country.”
Prior to joining Benesch, Chris practiced at a regional insurance defense law firm, where he dedicated a large portion of his practice to the defense of motor carriers and their drivers in commercial transportation litigation. He is also experienced in immediately responding to accident scenes for the purpose of investigating and evaluating catastrophic losses.
Chris received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and his B.A. from John Carroll University.
