Benesch, one of the fastest-growing firms on the AmLaw 200 list, is pleased to announce the addition of Nicholas R. Pesavento as a Partner in its Corporate & Securities practice group.
Nick, who is based in the firm’s Chicago office, focuses his practice on transactions for private equity portfolio companies and their sponsors. Over the course of his career, he has engaged in hundreds of middle-market private equity transactions ranging from $1 million to over $1 billion in enterprise value. Nick has experience and expertise across several industrial sectors, including manufacturing, healthcare, food & beverage, business services, consumer products, and industrial services.
He also has extensive experience with structuring and negotiating merger, acquisition, buyout, and joint venture transactions for both strategic and investment fund clients, and regularly represents private equity funds in connection with acquisitions and dispositions.

In addition, Nick advises clients on tax-free reorganization structures, internal restructurings, and debt financing transactions. Prior to joining Benesch, Nick was an Associate Attorney at Winston & Strawn LLP. He holds a J.D., summa cum laude, from the University of Illinois College of Law and a B.A. from the University of Illinois – Urbana-Champaign.
