As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome Associate Andrew D. Kinsey to the Litigation Practice Group in Wilmington.
Andrew focuses his practice on corporate and complex commercial litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery as well as other state and federal courts across the country. He also advises corporations and their boards of directors on matters involving the Delaware General Corporation Law, the fiduciary obligations of directors and officers, and other corporate law issues.
Andrew’s pro bono practice has included representing a class of workers from a meat processing plant who were subject to alleged violations of their civil rights which led to the United States paying more than $1 million in a settlement, representing an immigrant in an appeal before the BIA, filing amicus briefs on behalf of immigrants-rights organizations in federal district courts and circuit courts of appeal, and representing petitioners in adult guardianship proceedings in the Delaware Court of Chancery. Andrew earned his J.D. from Penn State Law and his B.S. in Criminal Justice from Faulkner University.
