As Benesch continues to add to its roster of top-notch legal talent, the firm is pleased to welcome Associate Sarah Schneider to the Litigation Practice Group in Cleveland.
Sarah has a proven track record in navigating complex litigation scenarios and delivering impactful results. She has prepared for and actively contributed to an eight-day commercial litigation trial including responsibilities encompassed drafting a motion for a directed verdict, formulating jury instructions, crafting jury interrogatories, and skillfully opposing various motions in limine.
In addition, Sarah has served as second chair during a three-day breach of contract arbitration, conducted a thorough examination of a direct witness, and drafted proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law. She has successfully drafted and argued a motion to dismiss a fiduciary claim based on jurisdictional grounds. Sarah has also prepared a compelling memorandum in objection to jurisdiction for the Supreme Court of Ohio while effectively countering a motion supporting appellate jurisdiction on a matter involving supersedeas bonds. Moreover, she possesses valuable insights into construction law, adding another layer to her diverse legal skill set.
Sarah has experience drafting motions for summary judgment in diverse cases, including commercial foreclosure, breach of contract, and fiduciary litigation disputes. Beyond the courtroom, Sarah expanded her expertise through an externship with Judge Boyko in the Northern District of Ohio. Sarah earned her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts Double Major in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
