Dave focuses his practice on commercial real estate matters with an emphasis on joint ventures, recapitalizations, restructurings, acquisitions and dispositions across all asset classes.

Dave represents real estate private equity fund sponsors and institutional investors in complex transactions. His work involves guiding asset and entity-level acquisitions and dispositions, as well as assisting with the structuring and formation of private investment funds, separate accounts, and joint ventures. Through these endeavors, Dave plays a pivotal role in ensuring that his clients successfully navigate the intricacies of high-stakes financial deals, demonstrating his deep experience and versatility in the industry. Prior to joining Benesch, Dave was counsel at King & Spalding LLP. He earned his J.D. from Emory University and his B.A. from Columbia University.
