Benesch is pleased to announce that client Loar Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LOAR) (“Loar”), a diversified manufacturer and supplier of niche aerospace and defense components, has completed its previously announced acquisition of Applied Avionics, Inc. (“Applied Avionics”) for approximately $385 million in cash.
The acquisition was facilitated by Benesch, with a team led by Corporate & Securities Partners Jen Stapleton and Sam Stucker.
Applied Avionics designs, develops and manufactures highly engineered avionics interface solutions and includes brands VIVISUN® and NEXSYS®—the preferred choices of leading aircraft retrofit providers, military prime contractors, Tier 1 suppliers, OEMs and others.
The collaborative Benesch team behind the acquisition also included Anthony Rossi, Julius Zavala, Aslam Rawoof, Leah Beitner, Dan Marks, Rachit Parikh, Duncan Poirier, Rick Tracanna, Lisa Kimmel, Melissa Grim, Mark Larsen, Margarita Krncevic, Joe Blalock, Connie Porter, Kevin Margolis, Anthony Ghazoul, Joel Pentz, Shannon Ligetti, Jonathan Todd and Vanessa Gomez.
In May, Benesch closed on Loar’s $354 million initial public offering, taking the company public.
