Benesch is proud to announce its recognition as a 2024 NorthCoast 99 winner, marking 22 consecutive years of being selected among the best workplaces for top talent in Northeast Ohio. Additionally, Benesch won this year’s Industry Award of Excellence in the category of Professional, Scientific & Technical Services.
Organized by ERC (Employers Resource Council), the NorthCoast 99 program annually recognizes 99 workplaces in Northeast Ohio that excel in attracting, retaining and motivating top talent. Since its inception in 1999, the award has become one of the region’s most esteemed workplace accolades.
“At Benesch, our top priority is cultivating a culture of respect, collaboration and integrity,” said Benesch Chief Human Resource Officer Liz Gillmore. “We strive to create an environment where employees thrive, clients trust us to deliver the highest level of service and everyone feels proud to be part of our firm. Receiving this award is a testament to our ongoing efforts to distinguish ourselves, and we’re honored to see our hard work recognized.”
To earn a place on the NorthCoast 99 list, organizations undergo a rigorous evaluation process, competing with companies across 22 counties, and including direct employee feedback. This process assesses key areas such as organizational strategy; policies and benefits; talent attraction, acquisition, and onboarding; employee well-being; employee engagement and talent development; and diversity, equity and inclusion.
“[T]he NorthCoast 99 winning organizations have developed cultures and positive reputations that draw talent from not only the Northeast Ohio region but also from across the nation, helping to grow our regional economy,” said ERC President Kelly Keefe. “Winning NorthCoast 99 is not easy, and the winning group of 99 employers is constantly evolving, listening and responding to the needs and desires of today’s talent.”
According to ERC, the leaders of this year’s recognized companies strike a balance between creating outstanding policies and building a culture of highly engaged employees who propel their businesses forward, setting a benchmark for excellence.
