Benesch is pleased to announce that Crain's Cleveland Business has selected Associate Lauryn Robinson as a 2024 Notable Women in Law Honoree. The list recognizes women throughout Northeast Ohio for their notable legal accomplishments, guidance provided to fellow attorneys, advocacy for inclusive workplace practices and meaningful contributions to their communities.
According to Crain’s, the Notable Women in Law attorneys “are making their mark in and out of the courtroom. They’re experts in immigration law, M&A and estate planning. They advise Fortune 500 companies on internal matters, represent clients in litigation and lend their time and expertise to countless nonprofit boards in the region.”
Lauryn, an associate in Benesch’s Litigation Practice Group, brings extensive experience in managing a diverse range of complex commercial litigation in both state and federal courts. Her practice encompasses general commercial litigation, consumer class actions, and transportation and logistics-related claims. Lauryn has actively participated in numerous court hearings and dedicated her skills to several pro bono projects. A significant aspect of Lauryn's work involves defending retail and e-commerce clients against class actions that allege unfair or deceptive business practices.
Beyond her legal practice, Lauryn is deeply committed to community service. She serves on the board of the Ohio Women’s Bar Foundation and Welcome House Inc., an organization dedicated to supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. Lauryn is equally passionate about contributing to Benesch’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. She takes pride in mentoring aspiring attorneys, particularly minority law school students, both locally and across the state.
