Benesch is pleased to announce that Linda Gemind has joined as of counsel, and Shannon Byrne has joined as an associate – all in the firm’s Labor & Employment Practice Group.
Linda Gemind is a labor and employment attorney with a focus on immigration law. She received her J.D. from the University of Florida, Fredric G. Levin College of Law and her B.A. in Political Science from Kent State University. She is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association and the Foreign Medical Graduates Taskforce.
Shannon Byrne focuses her labor and employment practice in the areas of employment discrimination, wrongful discharge, breaches of employment contracts and covenants not to compete, intentional torts, civil rights, employee and union relations, and workplace safety. She received her J.D. from Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law and her B.S from McGill University and B.A. from University of Victoria. She is a zoning commissioner for Bainbridge Township, Ohio and is a steering committee member for the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association’s Women in Law Serving Women pro bono program.
