As Benesch continues its robust expansion in Chicago and nationwide, the firm also announces the hiring of four attorneys in Cleveland.
The firm is pleased to announce the additions of attorney Lauri Cooper, who joins Benesch as Of Counsel, and associates Jordan Call, Nathan Nasrallah and Deana Stein. Cooper will join the firm’s Health Care & Life Sciences Practice Group; Call joins the Labor & Employment Practice Group; and Nasrallah and Stein join the Litigation Practice Group.

Cooper is an experienced health care regulatory and transactional attorney and public-law higher education attorney who is a strategic thinker and analytical problem solver.
She has deep experience with hospital and physician health care matters, including CoPs, Stark, Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, and Medicare and Medicaid billing and compliance. Cooper advises clients in the negotiation and strategic planning of complex transactional arrangements, and provides counseling to board groups and executive teams on risk, legal matters and corporate governance.
Cooper graduated from The University of Toledo College of Law and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Call represents and counsels employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters. He represents employers in litigation before federal courts and state courts, and he represents employers in actions filed with administrative agencies. He also counsels businesses on best practices for employment-related matters and advises clients regarding labor and employment aspects of the due diligence process for mergers and acquisitions. He graduated from Boston College Law School and the University of Michigan.
Nasrallah is experienced in commercial litigation, complex civil litigation, white collar crimes investigations and internal investigations. He has represented various Midwest industrial companies, manufacturing and supply companies and utilities companies, and has experience in a number of aspects of the litigation process including case management, research, pleading, discovery and motion practice.
He graduated from magna cum laude from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and summa cum laude from Capital University.
Stein focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation with an emphasis on products liability. She was an associate at a large New York law firm where her broad practice included litigating and arbitrating commercial landlord-tenant, business dissolution, insurance/reinsurance, labor and employment, anti-trust and workers’ compensation-related disputes.
She graduated magna cum laude from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and summa cum laude from Boston University
Cooper, Call, Nasrallah and Stein are joining Benesch’s Cleveland office during a time of significant growth for the firm. More than 70 attorneys have joined the firm in the last 18 months. Since making its debut on the AmLaw 200 list in 2016, the firm has advanced 19 places and is currently ranked at number 176.
