Benesch welcomes Yulian Shtern as Of Counsel to the firm’s Healthcare+ Practice Group in Hackensack.
“Yulian has 10 years of experience, with his practice focused on health care regulatory, transactional and compliance matters. Throughout his career he has advised a wide array of health care providers and suppliers, including hospitals, health systems, ambulatory surgery centers, pharmaceutical suppliers, physician practice groups, long-term care facilities and clinical laboratories and MSOs.” said Gregg Eisenberg, Managing Partner and Executive Committee Member. “Most recently, Yulian was an Associate at Troutman Pepper.”
Yulian helps health care providers and suppliers in navigating through complex business transactions and regulatory issues that arise under the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Civil Monetary Penalties Statute, HIPAA/HITECH and other applicable state and federal health care laws and regulations. He also counsels health care providers and suppliers with respect to regulatory issues, including licensing, corporate practice of medicine, provider participation in government health care programs, and telehealth and telemedicine considerations.
He received his B.S. from State University of New York at Albany and his J.D. from Albany Law School.
