Benesch, one of the fastest-growing firms on the AmLaw 200 list, is pleased to welcome Associate Dave Walters to the Litigation Practice Group in Cleveland.
Dave focuses his practice on pre-trial, trial, and appellate advocacy in the contexts of complex commercial litigation and white collar matters.
As a recent graduate of Case Western Reserve University School of Law, Dave regularly draws on his experience gained through the school’s nationally ranked Mock Trial program. Alongside his teammates, he competed at the national level in both the National Trial Competition and Tournament of Champions. On the appellate side, he won the CWRU School of Law Dean Dunmore Moot Court Competition and competed on the National Moot Court Team.
Prior to joining Benesch, Dave externed for the Hon. Benita Y. Pearson of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio. He also represented clients in defamation matters as a licensed legal intern in the CWRU School of Law First Amendment Clinic.
Dave graduated cum laude with a Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law, where he also earned his Master of Compliance and Risk Management. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Government from Arizona State University.
