As Benesch continues to grow its national presence in its San Francisco and Columbus offices, the firm has announced the hiring of a trio of associate attorneys and a patent agent in its Chicago office.
The firm is pleased to announce the additions of associates Helen M. Schweitz, George Stowe, and Rebecca S. Vicario, and patent agent Frankie W. Wong to its Chicago office. Schweitz and Wong join the firm’s Intellectual Property/3iP Practice Group; Stowe joins the Corporate & Securities Practice Group; and Vicario joins the Real Estate & Environmental Group.

Schweitz has experience working with clients on technology transactions, data privacy and security, and online contracting. Her experience includes drafting and negotiating business-critical intellectual property and information technology agreements
She graduated from the University of Michigan Law School in 2012.
Stowe focuses his practice on private equity transactions and mergers and acquisitions. He also counsels clients with respect to general corporate matters, entity formation, governance, securityholder agreements and securities compliance.
He graduated cum laude from the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2016.
Vicario focuses her practice on a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, including real estate financing transactions; acquisitions and dispositions of retail, office, and multi-family housing, as well as commercial leasing transactions.
She graduated from The John Marshall Law School in 2010.
Wong has over 14 years of experience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications covering hardware and software aspects of IC chips, handsets, base stations, subsystem controllers and system integration of 3G to 5G multi-carrier multi-mode wireless network communications standards.
He graduated from Santa Clara University with an M.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1985.
Schweitz, Stowe, Vicario, and Wong are joining Benesch’s Chicago office during a time of significant growth for the firm. More than 70 attorneys have joined the firm in the last 18 months.
