Susan has experience in coordinating due diligence for a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, loans, etc.
Susan has experience in facilitating communication between attorneys for the various parties on transactions and reviewing and summarizing title commitments and surveys and preparing title and survey objection letters. Susan works closely and directly with title companies to clear title(s), work through objections, and obtain title policies. She obtains, reviews, and summarizes entity organizational documents and UCC, judgment, tax, and other lien searches and prepares and files/records a variety of documents, including deeds, mortgages, memoranda or leases, resolutions, UCC financing statements, etc. Susan also prepares closing checklists, critical dates lists, closing documents, various affidavits, certificates, and resolutions and coordinates and controls the closing process for various real estate transactions.
