Najwa’s practice focuses on high-stakes consumer class actions, contracts, technology and privacy law, and artificial intelligence. Her experience includes work for clients such as Google and DoorDash.
Najwa has represented companies in major consolidated class actions concerning cellphone applications and digital advertising and analytics. Her breadth of experience includes labor and employment, whistleblower claims, SEC and FINRA regulatory investigations, and consumer litigation involving the Unfair Competition Law, the False Advertising Law, and the Consumer Legal Remedies Act.
Najwa received her Juris Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where she served on the Berkeley Business Law Journal as a Submissions Editor. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Smith College, graduating with honors and with the Dawes Prize for the best undergraduate work in political science. She also served as a legal clerk for NCLR, focusing on high-impact litigation, and for the San Francisco City Attorney. Najwa has completed over 400 hours of pro-bono service.
Najwa is admitted to practice in all courts in the State of California, as well as all District Courts of California.
