Meghan represents clients in a broad range of civil litigation and commercial matters, including breach of contract disputes, trade secret misappropriation, business torts, and employment claims. She is experienced in drafting briefs, motions, written discovery, and conducting legal research to support her client's needs and build strong cases.
Currently, Meghan is part of the team representing Smartmatic, a voting machine company, in several high-profile lawsuits related to defamatory statements made after the 2020 U.S. Presidential election, including a $2.7 billion lawsuit against Fox News.
In addition to her practice, Meghan is passionate about pro bono service. She represents individuals in Section 1983 cases, VAWA petitions, criminal appeals, and discrimination matters. Notably, she is part of the team representing a Jewish customer in a federal discrimination lawsuit against Jerusalem Coffee House in Oakland, CA.
Meghan earned her law degree from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School. Prior to law school, she worked with City Year, an educational non-profit focused on reducing dropout rates in underserved communities.
