Maya focuses her practice on data privacy and complex commercial litigation, handling matters such as contract disputes, legal malpractice, business torts, data breaches and class actions.
She is experienced in drafting pleadings, petitions, motions, substantive arguments, research memoranda and other legal documents, advocating effectively for both plaintiffs and defendants. Her thoroughness and keen attention to detail ensure that her clients are well-prepared and confident at every stage of their case.
Prior to joining Benesch, Maya was an associate at Baker & Hostetler. She has also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Melissa A. Crane and the Honorable O. Peter Sherwood in the Commercial Division of the New York State Supreme Court, drafting decisions for complex motions and resolving discovery conflicts.
