Lizbeth represents public and private companies in a range of complex transactional matters, including mergers, acquisitions and corporate contract reviews. A strategic, versatile and resourceful problem solver, she helps businesses achieve their goals by reducing risk, increasing profitability and strengthening their market position.
During law school, Lizbeth served as a student attorney in the DePaul Business Law Clinic, where she represented women-owned small businesses in Chicago. She also completed a judicial externship with the 12th Judicial Circuit Court of Illinois.
Before attending law school, Lizbeth worked as an investment analyst, specializing in both domestic and international securities. In her previous role, she also consulted for the middle office Bloomberg trading desks of several Fortune 500 companies.
In 2020, Lizbeth co-founded the Joliet Latino Economic Development Association, recognized by the state of Illinois as a Community Navigator Program and a Small Business Assistance Program in collaboration with the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. These initiatives provide funding and resources to help small businesses recover from the pandemic and prepare for growth. Lizbeth currently serves on the board.
