Lily concentrates her practice on complex commercial litigation and environmental law and represents clients from a variety of industries, including technology, environmental, and entertainment and sports companies.
Lily has litigated large and complex matters, including mass tort, class action, qui tam, and multidistrict litigations, through all stages of litigation, from compliant draft to trial. Lily has significant trial experience, including second chairing in a nine-figure federal bench trial (June 2023 and August 2023) for an owner/operator in a CERCLA case where the government sought more than $100 million in damages and an eight-figure jury trial (May 2021) for an international entertainment and sports conglomerate against claims of breach of fiduciary duty brought by a professional athlete. Throughout her legal career, she successfully led a team and served as the representative for a multinational digital communications technology enterprise, specializing in 3rd party subpoena work.
Prior to joining Benesch, Lily spent ten years at a major international firm where she obtained significant complex civil and trial experience and was part of Law360's 2019 Product Liability Group of the Year.
Futhermore, Lily has previously assisted pro bono clients with asylum matters, U-Visa applications, and adjustment of status applications. She has also partnered with National Veterans Legal Services Program to provide legal representation to disabled veterans.

Represented an international entertainment and sports conglomerate against claims of breach of fiduciary duty brought by a professional athlete in an eight figure jury trial. After nearly a month of evidence, the jury deliberated only three hours before finding in favor of client on all counts.
- Secured early settlement in state-wide class action and successfully managed settlement compliance, including training professional staff from 19 sites across California.
- Sued a New York county board of elections for alleged religious discrimination against Hasidic Jews resulting in independent monitoring of the board of elections for a 5-year period.
- Defended retail company in California state-wide class action against allegations of violations of various California consumer protection statutes.
- Represented world's largest logistics company in month-long jury trial in New York, resulting in a full defense verdict in a multi-million dollar breach of contract lawsuit filed by 31 plaintiffs.
- Represented a private equity fund in a two-week bench trial in Delaware Chancery Court, securing complete defense victory in decade-long dispute arising from a $2.2 billion acquisition of a national skilled nursing facility company.
