Kari has experience in many practice areas including the energy and utilities industry.
Kari focuses her practice on deregulated energy markets, working with competitive retail suppliers in multiple states including Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, and Texas. She advises clients on energy industry transactions with a special focus on regulatory compliance and licensing matters.
She earned her J.D., summa cum laude, from Capital University Law School in 2017 and her B.S. from the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University in 2008. While attending Capital University Law School, Kari was a staff member and published author of the Capital University Law Review, a mentee with the Ohio Women’s Bar Association Mentoring Program and a peer coordinator for the Cap Law Peer Advisor Program.
Kari previously completed externships with the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio and the OhioHealth Office of the General Counsel.
