Ermias advises private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, as well as both publicly and privately held companies, on complex transactions. These include mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, carve-outs, leveraged buyouts and other strategic endeavors.
Ermias has represented private equity sponsors and publicly traded companies in transactions ranging from $15 million to $4.4 billion, spanning both the U.S. and international markets. Additionally, Ermias offers comprehensive counsel on a wide spectrum of general corporate matters and complex commercial arrangements.
Prior to his tenure with Benesch, Ermias was a corporate associate at Winston & Strawn LLP. He also served as Associate Counsel for the National Basketball Association (NBA), where he was the lead international media lawyer, overseeing international media and social media transactions.
