Chris has deep experience working on transportation industry related matters. He has trial experience in federal courts and various Ohio state courts.
As a member of the firm’s Transportation & Logistics Group, he represents manufacturers, distributors, retailers, carriers, brokers, and forwarders in connection with general business consultation, regulatory compliance counseling, drafting and negotiation of contracts, litigation and dispute resolution, and enforcement defense including during investigations and audits.
Prior to joining Benesch, Chris practiced at a regional insurance defense law firm, where he dedicated a large portion of his practice to the defense of motor carriers and their drivers in commercial transportation litigation. He is also experienced in immediately responding to accident scenes for the purpose of investigating and evaluating catastrophic losses.
