Christopher is a dynamic and thoughtful problem-solver with over a decade of experience in complex litigation and corporate advising.
He has experience in a wide range of practice areas, including contract disputes, business torts, class-action litigation, employment law, intellectual property, FINRA, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). He has litigated cases involving the First Amendment, the Civil Rights Act, the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, the Uniform Commercial Code, federal and state trade secret law, and deceptive trade practices. He also closely monitors major lawsuits and other developments in video game law, and has presented at CLE programs and video game conferences.
Prior to joining Benesch, Christopher practiced at respected boutique firms in North Carolina and Ohio, where he developed a collaborative, versatile, and client-focused approach to practicing law. He has represented clients in state and federal court, including arguing successfully before the North Carolina Supreme Court. Christopher has been named to both the Ohio and North Carolina Super Lawyers—Rising Stars lists during his career for his work in business litigation.

- Represented nationwide class of military veterans in federal lawsuits against Bank of America and Chase Bank involving violation of Servicemembers Civil Relief Act; both matters resulted in multi-million-dollar settlements.*
- Successfully argued matter before Supreme Court of North Carolina regarding discovery rights pursuant to motion to vacate arbitration award; obtained unanimous decision in favor of client.*
- Represented multinational tobacco company as lead counsel in multi-million-dollar lawsuit against machinery manufacturer; negotiated settlement at mediation.*
- Represented homeowner accused of conspiracy to violate the First Amendment in federal lawsuit in connection with participation in city planning hearing; obtained dismissal of client.*
