Alejandro’s practice focuses on real estate finance, commercial lending, development, redevelopment, investments, acquisitions and dispositions in both single-asset transactions and multi-property portfolio transactions. He represents developers, investors, lenders, and other institutional and non-institutional investors. He has counseled clients with respect to debt and equity issues in a wide array of commercial real estate transactions, including construction, permanent, and term financing.
Alejandro also has extensive experience in tax advantaged investing and lending. Alejandro has represented institutional investors, lenders, community development entities, and qualified active low-income community businesses in structuring complex tax-advantaged transactions that combine new markets tax credits with other private financing sources and public subsidies, including governmental grant and other federal and state tax credit programs.
Alejandro has also represented investors with respect to equity investments in low-income housing tax credit transactions, including clients making investments through proprietary investment funds.
