Benesch represented one of the world’s largest international real estate private equity firms and that firm’s prominent joint venture partners, including two of the largest retail property owners in the country, on a complex portfolio sale of five (5) large regional grocery anchored shopping centers located in two (2) different states. The properties involved complicated title, environmental, leasing and diligence matters that had to be addressed and resolved, as well as coordinating loan payoffs with separate lenders on multiple properties, to ensure a timely and simultaneous closing on all the assets.
